What is a BookTalk?

A booktalk is a summary of a book that entices the reader to checkout the book without giving away to much detail.  You might think of a booktalk as a movie trailer for a book.  Most booktalks are given verbally, but on this Booktalks LibGuide you may read the booktalks that have been presented and written.

Ms. Pritchard's Picks

This LibGuide contains all the booktalks that Ms. Pritchard has done for both Middle School and High School. You can look through all of her picks to find a great new book to read!

Ms. Pritchard chooses the books herself, then uses the publisher's description and blurbs about a book, as well as her own words and opinions, in the text of each booktalk.
